Bob Leonard 5K River Run and New 1K Color Run/Walk
On Sunday July 31st, the River Corridor Foundation, along with the St. Charles Kiwanis, hosted the 9th Annual Bob Leonard 5K Run and 1K Color Run. Hundreds of runners, families and children had the opportunity to participate in a certified 5K timed run, and new, very colorful 1K Family Color Run. Both started and finished along the Fox River in Pottawatomie Park and the historic Grand Pavilion. As an annual fundraiser, we want to thank all our sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants. We are very appreciative of their support. We promoted the event as ‘fun is good’! Perfect weather, plenty of snacks, and a great turnout made for a super-fun morning! Stay tuned for next summer’s 10th Annual Run – Fun really is GOOD!
